Dr Yu accepts referrals across his Sydney and Newcastle rooms, with telehealth available NSW-wide. Use this page to send a referral query directly, or contact the admin team at the location where you’d like the patient to be seen.

What to include
For a smooth referral.
- Patient demographics and Medicare number
- Reason for referral and clinical question
- Relevant history, current medications, and allergies
- Recent results (pathology, imaging, prior endocrine workup)
- Whether telehealth is acceptable, and any preferred location
- Standard 12-month referral, or named-specialist referral if the patient is established with Dr Yu
